Growing up in small town Manitoba enabled me to recognize at a young age, the importance of family, friends and neighbours. Spending a great deal of time in my father’s small retail business taught me the importance of giving back to the community and that the secret to success was treating people with the respect and the courtesy we all deserve.
Over my 33 year career in the personal finance and residential mortgage business, I had the opportunity to live and work in every province in our country except for the Maritimes. During this time, I owned around 15 homes, learning something new about home ownership with every move. I have done my best to transfer these skills to our real estate business, first in B.C. and now here in Eastern Ontario.
The decision to leave B.C.’s Sunshine Coast 10 years ago wasn’t an easy one, but the call to be closer to family was strong. When my wife Pauline and I researched different areas in south eastern Ontario, the Kingston area seemed to meet our criteria of value, location and lifestyle. Choosing Bath, as our home, has proven to be an excellent choice as we enjoy the friendly, welcoming environment of small-town living, all within 20 minutes of the great City of Kingston.

I have lived in the Kingston/Bath west area for over 30 years. Raised my family here and interacted with people from all walks of life in the course of owning and operating several businesses. Most recently 15 years as the owner of Bayshore Imports and Explorers Market. This was an importing and distribution company (and outlet store) focused on Fair Trade, specializing in home décor and giftware. I Employed many local residents on my staff and interacted with various businesses and government agencies in the area. Previously I was the owner operator of a popular destination retail operation.
I have always had an interest in Real estate, specially as I have first hand experience with many types of transactions good and bad, from farm property, city residential to commercial warehouse as well as construction.
I bring my years of negotiating and thinking inside and outside the box in multiple business and personal situations to deal with what ever arises in the course of our relationship. You will find that I am tireless and conscientious in all my endeavors.
